William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, are expecting a baby.
Yes! Calloo, callay! The news has been a matter of speculation for a long (looooooong) while now -- and grew to a fever pitch following Kate's recent public refusals of wine and peanut butter, respectively. But the pregnancy now been officially confirmed through a release on the royals' dedicated website this morning.
The release contains pretty much what you'd expect -- "very pleased to announce," "delighted with the news," etc. -- but it also contains something a little less expected: a URL for the announcement that, in addition to reflecting the high traffic to the couple's website in the wake of the news, also nicely conveys the anticipation surrounding the MiniRoyal:
