A lively discussion on the social curation site, Reddit, has produced a list of videos that will cheer you up on this rainy day.

SesameStreet/YouTube
In the middle of the night, Reddit user f_humanity posted a query to the site: "Reddit," f_humanity asked, "what is one YouTube video that never fails to cheer you up?" In the hours that followed, Redditors submitted suggestions, and upvoted, downvoted, and discussed them. There are videos that will make you laugh and others that will make you cry; there are Internet favorites that have been viewed millions of times and a few, perhaps more idiosyncratic in their appeal, that have "just" thousands of views. Here is a selection of 10 drawn from Reddit's conversation, in no particular order, perfect for this rainy day (and if you live somewhere without rain, it'll still do you some good).
1. Strangers come to the aid of gay couple being harassed by waitress (Editor's note: Embedding blocked! But do click through; it is very much worth it.)
2. Cute child pranks Kermit by randomly inserting "Cookie Monster" into the alphabet (be sure to watch to the end)
3. Where the Hell Is Matt?
4. Two hamsters, one wheel
5. Kid rides a bike, gives incredible motivational speech to challenged bike riders of the world (AKA "Thumbs Up for Rock & Roll!)
6. Bob Ross Remixed
7. Along those same lines, "Mr. Rogers Remixed"
8. Denver the dog knows he's guilty
9. Validation
10. Chicken yodeling (I don't personally get this one, but it's the pick of f_humanity, the original poster.)
Bonus Editor's Pick: Isaa'c Live Lip-Dub Proposal
