In the meantime, you need to distract yourself or you'll go crazy and eat lots of candy, as I have done. To help you get through, The Atlantic has put together this collection of soothing nature videos. (Be sure to watch in full screen -- both for aesthetic and election-blocking purposes!)
1. Dauðalogn, by Henry Jun Wah Lee
As Atlantic video editor Kasia Cieplay-Mayr von Baldegg reported, the Icelandic band Sigur Ros commissioned a different artist to make a video for each track on their new album. Below is one of the best, filmed on the remote Japanese island of Yakushima.
2. The Wild Heart, also by Henry Jun Wah Lee
By the same artist as above, this video takes you around the American Southwest. He explains the process of making it here. (Election Day bonus! This one also made my heart swell with a bit of patriotism.)

Okay, this one isn't strictly "nature" (whatever that means anyway) but it is nevertheless the perfect antidote to the anxiety of the election. See this beautiful essay by Ethan Zuckerman for more about Matt and his dancing. Enjoy!
