In 1995, a group of fifth graders at the Ray Bjork school in Helena, Montana produced a PSA advocating the Internet -- ostensibly, to the adults who controlled their connection to it.
The video that resulted was, oddly and frighteningly, prophetic. "By the time we're in college," the students promised, "the Internet will be our telephone, television, shopping center, and workplace." They also mention that Internet's inevitable impact on education. And communication. And cats.
You can now watch the video the students made in 1995 via the Internet they advocated in 1995. And you can marvel at the foresight displayed by a group of spunky tweens as they inform their elders: "The Internet is as much a part of the future as we are!"
